"From Mountain to Fjord"
Geology and Ecology of Western Norway
The one semester international course "GE475
From Mountain to Fjord" is taught at
the HSF-campus in Sogndal, located at
the shores of the Sognefjord in the western
part of Norway. This area spans over a
variety of environments ranging from alpine
to marine over very short distance, offering
a unique natural laboratory.
